Financial Controller – Hospitality Finance

About the role

The Financial Controller will ensure the integrity of financial and management accounting for AC Hotels by Marriott in Milan Sesto. Acting as a bridge between day‑to‑day accounting and strategic analysis, you will support the Director of Finance and the General Manager in decision‑making and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the definition of budgets, forecasts and financial plans; analyse performance and variances against budget and historical data.
• Prepare and review P&L statements, forecasts and periodic reports, monitoring key KPIs, costs and revenues.
• Supervise accounting activities with the Senior Accountant, allocate costs across revenue centres and verify monthly inventory data.
• Audit the Procure‑to‑Pay cycle and ensure compliance with Marriott SOPs for Front Office and F&B collections.
• Conduct profitability analyses for specific segments such as banqueting versus outlet dining.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company policies and USALI standards; support internal and external audit processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, accounting or a similar role; hospitality or international experience is a plus.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong analytical mindset, accuracy and results‑oriented attitude.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent contract.
• Annual gross salary between €45,000 and €65,000, plus 13th and 14th month salaries where applicable.
