Fixed Income Algorithmic Trading Developer

About the role

The Trading Algo Specialist will design, develop, and optimise high‑performance algorithmic trading systems for cross‑asset, including fixed‑income, products. Working within the Algo Technology team, you will collaborate closely with traders, quants, developers and product owners to deliver fast, reliable and compliant trading solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain low‑latency algorithmic trading strategies for fixed‑income and other asset classes.
• Ensure scalability, performance and reliability of the firm’s trading platforms.
• Translate client trading requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, developers and QA to align technology with business needs and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and continuously optimise algorithmic workflows.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular status updates to management.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial markets, especially fixed‑income products.
