Frontend Developer Intern (React/Next.js)

About the role

VitaAvanza is seeking a motivated Developer Intern to join the team building VITA, an AI‑native life‑navigation platform that supports students, newcomers and vulnerable groups. The internship offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving startup environment, focusing on front‑end development and user‑centered design.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React and Next.js components for the VITA platform.
• Implement UI elements using the company design system and Tailwind CSS.
• Build dashboard and institutional console interfaces.
• Integrate AI assistant flows and product features linked to user journeys.
• Fix bugs, write tests, and contribute to continuous product improvement.
• Collaborate with product, research, operations, and legal/compliance teams.

Required profile

• Basic to intermediate experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Strong interest in AI‑driven SaaS products and social‑impact technology.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to clean UI, accessibility and overall user experience.
• Curiosity, ownership mindset and a serious approach to internship responsibilities.
