Global Events Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Global Events Finance Manager to lead the financial lifecycle of large‑scale, multi‑country events. Based in Italy, you will act as the financial backbone for an international events organization, ensuring accuracy, transparency and control across budgets, contracts and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end financial processes for global events, from budgeting and vendor quotations to final payments and reconciliations.
• Prepare, consolidate and monitor detailed event budgets, providing real‑time financial tracking to event teams.
• Oversee contract processing, signature workflows, invoicing and payment execution with compliance.
• Handle multi‑currency and multi‑entity reconciliations to ensure financial consistency across international operations.
• Produce post‑event financial reports, analysing spend, variances and budget performance.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to review quotations, control costs and support negotiations.
• Maintain financial records and reporting systems to guarantee audit readiness and transparency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management within events, travel, hospitality or similarly fast‑paced industries.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Italian is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• High autonomy, reliability and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Proficiency in PowerPoint.
