About the role
As Group Chief Financial Officer, you will be the primary financial strategist and a key partner to the CEO, shaping Satispay’s international financial roadmap from its Milan headquarters. You will oversee the Group’s financial strategy, capital allocation and consolidated finance activities, supporting growth and future capital‑markets objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Executive Financial Strategy – influence corporate development, monetisation plans and the overall business model as a member of the Executive Team.
- Corporate Finance & Capital Management – lead equity fundraising, debt structuring, investor relations, M&A execution and IPO preparation.
- Financial Reporting & Governance – ensure consistent, high‑quality consolidated accounts, statutory reporting and financial governance across all entities.
- FP&A & Growth Performance – drive budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and forward‑looking financial modelling for strategic decisions.
- Group Finance Organisation – build and scale a best‑in‑class finance function covering FP&A, control, reporting, IR and business partnering.
- Entity Governance – oversee the Luxembourg banking subsidiary, ensuring regulatory reporting, treasury management and alignment with Group standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of progressive finance leadership, including at least 3 years as Group CFO, VP of Finance or Deputy CFO in a fintech or payments scale‑up.
- Proven experience with institutional investors, series funding, and IPO/SPAC processes.
- Background in regulated financial environments (banking, payments, e‑money) with strong governance and compliance knowledge.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics or Business; CPA, CFA or equivalent highly desirable.
- Full professional proficiency in English; Italian is a plus.
