Group Chief Financial Officer (Relocation to Milan)

About the role

As Group CFO you will serve as the primary financial strategist and a key partner to the CEO, shaping Satispay’s international financial roadmap from our Milan headquarters. You will lead the Group Finance organisation and drive capital allocation, financial governance and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the long‑term financial strategy, profitability frameworks and value‑creation initiatives across business lines and geographies.
• Lead corporate finance activities including equity fundraising, debt structuring, M&A execution, investor relations and IPO preparation.
• Oversee Group financial reporting, consolidated accounts, statutory reporting and governance for all entities, including the regulated Luxembourg banking subsidiary.
• Direct Group FP&A functions – budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and scenario planning.
• Build and scale a best‑in‑class finance team covering FP&A, financial control, reporting, investor relations and finance business partnering.
• Ensure alignment between strategic planning, operational execution and financial performance across the Group.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 3 years as Group CFO, VP of Finance or Deputy CFO in a technology scale‑up, neo‑bank or fintech.
• Proven experience with capital markets, institutional investors, series funding or IPO/SPAC processes.
• Strong knowledge of regulated financial environments (banking, payments, e‑money) and related governance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics or Business; CPA, CFA or equivalent highly desirable.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Italian is a plus.
