Group Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

The Group Internal Audit Specialist reports to the Internal Audit Manager and supports the execution of a risk‑based audit plan across corporate functions, international subsidiaries, retail boutiques and manufacturing sites. The role ensures compliance with SOX, SEC regulations and Group governance while safeguarding the internal control environment of a luxury fashion organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the annual risk‑based audit plan for corporate, retail and industrial operations.
• Perform operational, financial, compliance and retail audits, including boutique and regional office reviews.
• Execute SOX testing activities such as walkthroughs, control design assessments and operating effectiveness testing.
• Identify process inefficiencies, fraud risks and control gaps, and propose practical recommendations.
• Draft clear audit reports for senior management and monitor corrective action implementation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Retail, Operations, Logistics, IT and HR stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and promote a strong internal‑control culture.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in Internal Audit or Big 4 audit, preferably in a publicly listed company.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, risk and control concepts.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Law.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%).

Required skills

• SOX compliance and internal‑control testing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 (advantageous).
