Group Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

Cementir Holding is seeking a Group Internal Audit Specialist to support the planning, execution and reporting of internal audits across its global entities. Reporting to the Group Internal Audit Manager, you will work on operational, financial and compliance audits while contributing to special projects such as ad‑hoc reviews and fraud investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of audits in line with the annual audit plan.
• Collaborate on special projects requested by senior management, including ad‑hoc audits, project reviews and fraud investigations.
• Prepare and present audit reports, highlighting findings and proposing practical solutions.
• Review audit results within agreed timelines to meet stakeholder expectations and ensure audit quality.
• Interact with management at all levels and interview staff to gather necessary information.
• Collect, examine and verify data from manuals, policies, financial statements and other documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in audit, compliance, fraud investigation or risk management.
• Strong analytical mindset and goal‑oriented attitude.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Italian and English.
• Experience working on global, cross‑functional and complex projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 60 % of the time across Europe and beyond.
