Guest Relations Host – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Guest Relations Host supports the Food & Beverage team at a luxury hotel in Costa Smeralda. You will be the first point of contact for diners, handling reservations, seating, and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, take dining reservations and enter guest information into the reservation system.
• Maintain the wait list, provide accurate wait times and make seating decisions using the station rotation chart.
• Seat guests, pull chairs, place menus, and ensure each place setting is complete and clean.
• Guide guests through the dining area, respond to special needs, and monitor room cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate with guests and staff to meet service standards and support teamwork.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as needed.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies, and maintain a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a similar guest‑facing or hospitality role.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
