Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance provides strategic leadership and end‑to‑end oversight of the finance function across multiple entities and geographies. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures accurate, compliant, and scalable financial outcomes while acting as a trusted business partner.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee statutory accounts, Group reporting (Local GAAP/IFRS) and ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Manage external audits, auditor relationships and NAV reporting where applicable.
• Monitor portfolio performance, SPV accounting, inter‑company reconciliations and compliance with financing covenants.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Direct liquidity planning, cash‑flow forecasting, banking relationships and debt‑compliance coordination.
• Coordinate tax planning, VAT, WHT and transfer‑pricing compliance with external advisors.
• Implement strong internal controls, corporate governance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, develop and allocate work for finance teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Engage with investors, lenders and senior stakeholders, supporting fundraising, due‑diligence and board‑level reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CFA preferred.
• 7+ years of finance experience, preferably in asset management, renewable energy/infrastructure or SPV‑driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Local GAAP, project finance and structured finance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction operations.
