Head of Legal and Compliance – Italy

About the role

Galderma is seeking a senior legal professional to lead its Legal and Compliance function in Italy. Reporting to senior business leaders, the Head of Legal and Compliance will ensure that all commercial, regulatory and ethical activities across Prescription Medicines, Aesthetics and Dermatological Skincare comply with national laws and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary legal advisor to Galderma Italy’s leadership and business units.
• Provide legal guidance on the launch and commercialization of the company’s first biologic product, coordinating with national and regional authorities.
• Advise on the introduction of new aesthetic products and services, ensuring promotional and commercial activities meet legal and ethical requirements.
• Support marketing and sales teams on digital campaigns, HCP/HCO engagements and related documentation.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and oversee cross‑functional compliance projects.
• Develop and embed a robust legal and compliance culture across the Italian operations.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a strong background in pharmaceutical, medical device or cosmetics law.
• Proven experience advising senior management in a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex regulatory matters and commercial contracts.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.
