Head of Marketplace – Mobility (Southern Europe)

About the role

Uber is looking for a senior leader to head the Marketplace function for Mobility across Southern Europe (Italy, Greece and Malta). Reporting to the local General Manager, you will be responsible for pricing, incentives and overall marketplace health, using data‑driven approaches to deliver a reliable and competitive service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify root causes of marketplace inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
• Develop, test and roll out pricing strategies and new pricing technologies.
• Design and execute rider and driver investment programmes.
• Perform business modelling, statistical analysis and experimentation to influence outcomes.
• Lead a team of four professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Monitor competitors and contribute to regional competitive strategy.
• Participate in the Southern Europe Leadership Team, shaping mobility goals.
• Plan and deliver multiple projects in a fast‑changing environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a fast‑paced, data‑driven role such as consulting, investment banking or analytics.
• At least 4 years of people‑management experience.
• Strong strategic mindset with ability to balance big‑picture thinking and operational detail.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior executives.
• Fluent English and proficiency in Italian or Greek.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or equivalent.
