Head of Sales & Marketing for Cities – Italy

About the role

Glovo is looking for a dynamic leader to take full P&L responsibility for its Centre Region of Italy. You will own the end‑to‑end business, drive growth, and shape the long‑term strategy for the city‑focused sales and marketing function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 20+ talented professionals.
• Define and execute the regional long‑term strategy, leveraging resources from Italy and broader European teams.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with retailers and stores to expand the Glovo platform.
• Maintain full P&L ownership and ensure profitable performance across the region.
• Foster a supportive, collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fast‑paced environments such as startups, investment banking, top consulting firms, or leading tech companies.
• Track record of leading cross‑functional teams of at least five people.
• Data‑driven decision‑making with strong business judgment.
• Persuasive communication skills with the ability to sell value to customers and partners.
• High curiosity, critical thinking, and the ability to devise elegant solutions to complex challenges.
• Resilience in ambiguous settings, strong ownership mindset, and a bias for action.
• Excellent command of English and Italian; Spanish is a plus.
