Home Nurse (m/f)

About the role

Medicasa Italia, a group company founded in 1993 specialising in home assistance services, is looking for a home nurse to provide general nursing care to the users assigned to it. The work is technical, relational and educational, covering preventive, curative, palliative and rehabilitative care, and takes place in Penne.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care and health education to patients, supporting them in taking part in therapeutic decisions
• Carry out specific nursing interventions that are technical, relational and educational, in line with the care plan
• Tailor care to each patient's age, gender, health condition and physical or mental fragility, and to religious, ethnic and linguistic specifics
• Give therapeutic education to patients and caregivers
• Follow international guidelines and Medicasa procedures, and use and store equipment correctly at home
• Identify and plan care goals, monitor clinical outcomes and keep electronic medical records and administrative documents
• Take part in team meetings run from the operations centre and in meetings called by health districts
• Write periodic medical reports when required by the health authority

Required profile

• Degree in nursing sciences
• Valid BLSD certificate
• Available for non-fixed hours
• Physical fitness for the job and a driver's licence
• Documented experience in home care and with paediatric patients

• Knowledge of computers and main application software
