Hospital Affairs Lead - Italy (North East)

About the role

Rhythm is seeking a Hospital Affairs Lead to join its Italy field‑based team, focusing on rare MC4R pathway diseases. The role carries regional sales responsibility for the approved product, building scientific and commercial partnerships with key stakeholders across the North‑East of Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Own sales performance for the product across approved indications in Italy.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external experts, payers, multidisciplinary teams and hospital pharmacists.
• Drive growth in line with business expectations and support comprehensive care and patient‑support programmes.
• Facilitate referral pathways between peripheral sites and prescribing centres.
• Implement an omnichannel approach tailored to customer segmentation and preferences.
• Utilise the CRM system for business planning, account planning, tracking and reporting.
• Collect and share market, customer and competitor insights to optimise patient management.
• Lead or support regional and national conferences and educational meetings.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, legal and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Academic degree in science, economics or related field; MBA, PharmD or PhD is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of documented sales experience in the pharma/biotech industry in Italy.
• Experience with orphan or specialty products preferred.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with HCPs, specialist nurses, hospital pharmacists, payers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated success in facilitating referral pathways and launching new products.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for planning and reporting.
