Host Service & Reception (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host to be the first point of contact for guests at our Ruby Bea hotel in Florence. You will welcome visitors, guide them through self‑check‑in, and ensure a warm, memorable stay from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage the self‑check‑in process and handle front‑desk duties.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, drinks and light snacks with efficiency.
• Take care of the breakfast buffet and demonstrate barista skills.
• Receive, inspect and store goods, maintaining proper mise‑en‑place.
• Provide local recommendations and insider tips to help guests explore Florence.

Required profile

• Some experience in the hotel or hospitality sector (experience not mandatory).
• Flexible and able to work shifts, including weekends.
• Reliable, multitasking, and eager to learn.
• Empathetic, humorous and enjoys interacting with guests.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of self‑check‑in systems.
• Ability to prepare cocktails and coffee.
• Understanding of food‑service hygiene and storage procedures.
