Hotel Maintenance Supervisor – Rome

About the role

The Hotel Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the day‑to‑day operational efficiency and upkeep of Experimental Roma, a new boutique hotel opening in 2026. Reporting to management, you will be the primary point of contact for all maintenance matters, guaranteeing safety compliance and a high‑quality guest environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel, restaurant and kitchen to identify maintenance needs (painting, repairs, plumbing, electricity, etc.).
• Maintain emergency and safety equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Manage routine and emergency maintenance tasks, schedule repairs and coordinate with contractors.
• Oversee maintenance contracts, obtain quotations for major works, and verify the quality of contractor‑performed repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of machinery, equipment specifications, manuals and inventory of maintenance supplies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance supervision.
• Strong knowledge of health‑and‑safety standards and ability to work with management on compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills to plan inspections, maintenance schedules and contractor coordination.
