Hotel Manager – Pre‑Opening (Florence)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Hotel Manager to lead the pre‑opening of a new boutique hotel in Florence. This on‑site position requires a hands‑on leader who will shape the guest experience, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations, including front‑desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial controls, and profitability targets.
• Lead sales and marketing initiatives to achieve revenue goals.
• Supervise menu planning, cost control, and compliance with health standards.
• Manage reservations, check‑ins, and overall front‑desk efficiency.
• Foster a culture of hospitality that exceeds guest expectations.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve guest issues.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
• Demonstrated success in sales and marketing within the hospitality sector.
• Solid knowledge of food & beverage operations and health‑code compliance.
• Leadership and communication skills to motivate a diverse team.
• Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Prior pre‑opening experience is highly desirable.
