Hotel Technician – Maintenance & Technical Services

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Hotel Technician to join our vibrant Ruby Giulia hotel in Rome. You will ensure that all technical systems run smoothly, contributing to a comfortable and memorable stay for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general technical minor repairs, structural repairs and routine maintenance across the 164‑room hotel.
• Inspect and monitor technical facilities such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems on a regular basis.
• Coordinate and supervise external facility‑management service providers.
• Carry out painting, silicone work and other finishing tasks throughout the property.
• Collaborate with the corporate office in Munich and the housekeeping team to align maintenance activities.
• Supervise regular maintenance and expert inspections of safety‑related equipment in coordination with the Maintenance Manager.
• Purchase necessary materials in consultation with the Hotel Manager.

Required profile

• Formal training in HVAC and/or electrical systems.
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable technical role within hospitality.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating external service providers.
• Strong general technical knowledge (painting, electrical, plumbing).
• Confident, personable attitude with a sense of humour.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and late shifts.
• Fluent Italian and good English communication skills.
