HR Compensation Specialist – French Speaker

About the role

Saipem is looking for an International HR Compensation Specialist to join its Compensation & Benefits Department in Milan. The role focuses on designing and maintaining competitive compensation strategies while supporting local HR teams across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market data and develop compensation strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with local HR functions to define grading systems, compensation structures and incentive plans.
• Monitor market compensation practices to ensure the competitiveness of Saipem’s offers.
• Prepare analytical reports on staff compensation levels and the effectiveness of policies.
• Support the annual salary review process.
• Coordinate with external providers for compensation surveys.
• Promote transparency and communication around compensation systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of HR experience, preferably in compensation and with exposure to the French market.
• Professional experience abroad is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
