IB PYP Homeroom Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic IB PYP Homeroom Teacher to join its faculty starting 24 August 2026. You will lead a primary classroom, fostering inquiry‑based learning and guiding students toward active global citizenship.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the IB Primary Years Programme curriculum using student‑centered, constructivist approaches.
• Plan and coordinate grade‑level curriculum reviews and align lessons with the school’s philosophy.
• Provide differentiated instruction, meaningful feedback, and self‑assessment opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and use data to inform instruction.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance learning experiences.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and curiosity‑driven classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and school leadership to ensure programme continuity.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the IB PYP framework and its implementation.
• Experience teaching primary‑level students in an inquiry‑based setting.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning communities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small‑school team.
• Adherence to school policies and professional standards.
