Indirect Procurement Buyer

About the role

Haier Europe is seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer to manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process for assigned indirect commodities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and the Indirect Procurement Category Manager to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost‑control initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Category Manager in defining and executing a strategic plan for assigned commodities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to capture business needs and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
• Lead negotiations to achieve optimal quality‑cost ratios.
• Identify cross‑regional synergies and inter‑company sourcing opportunities.
• Assist in developing Master Service Agreements with Haier Group procurement teams in Italy.
• Manage the full vendor lifecycle: scouting, offer evaluation, SLA definition, contract drafting (in partnership with Legal).
• Process orders in the ERP system and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
• Conduct purchase cost analysis and develop action plans to improve performance.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in indirect procurement or a similar purchasing role, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and Italian; working proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
