Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

Exotec is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join the team in Bologna. You will support the installation and ongoing upkeep of our cutting‑edge robotic systems in a new client warehouse, ensuring high availability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of Exotec robotic solutions and related equipment in the warehouse.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on robots, conveyors, machines and other automation assets.
• Monitor system performance and report any deviations.
• Support the deployment of new machines and upgrades.
• Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns, coordinating additional assistance when needed.
• Collaborate with a team of five technicians to maintain overall system health.

Required profile

• Good spoken English; resume must be in English.
• At least one prior experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance abilities.
• Broad understanding of software, mechanical and electrical engineering concepts.
• Willingness to work on diverse systems and perform fieldwork.
• Effective communication skills.
