Integration Specialist Intern – Radiology Informatics

About the role

As an Integration Specialist Intern you will support the delivery of integration services that connect Philips Enterprise Informatics and Radiology Informatics solutions with third‑party systems for healthcare organisations across EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Integration Analysis – document customer requirements, define workflows, design solution interfaces, evaluate alternatives, scope effort and prepare work packages and quotes.
• Integration Delivery – translate specifications into components or configurations, develop and test solutions, resolve issues, and document the final solution for hand‑over to the service team.

Required profile

• High School Diploma plus active enrollment in a university, college or vocational program.
• No prior professional experience required.
• No specific certification required.

Required skills

• Database design/implementation/administration (Oracle DBA knowledge is a plus).
• Development of integration components using Visual Studio.Net, Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, C, C++, COM objects, Web interfaces, XML and SOAP.
• Knowledge of medical standards DICOM, HL7 and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑analysis abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
