Intern, Customer Excellence & Operations

About the role

Biogen is looking for an intern in Customer Excellence & Operations in Milan. During the internship, the candidate focuses on projects related to innovation, omnichannel engagement, digital health solutions and the adoption of AI tools, under the supervision of a mentor.

Key responsibilities

• Support change management initiatives as part of the affiliate's digital evolution and AI transformation.
• Help launch, develop and manage digital initiatives for patients, caregivers and the general public, as well as scientific platforms and digital services for healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to multi-target omnichannel campaigns.
• Support internal AI adoption and digital innovation through education, awareness campaigns, training materials and communication.
• Promote digital and innovative projects internally and externally through materials, presentations and cross-functional meetings.
• Help identify metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of the activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communication, Economics, Digital Marketing, Digital Communication or a related field; degrees in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (CTF) or similar are also considered if there is a strong interest in the digital ecosystem.
• Postgraduate Master's in Digital Marketing or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication skills, ability to multitask and good project management.
• Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and interest in innovation, AI and digital transformation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and generative AI tools.
• Strong knowledge of social media, digital communication platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Experience developing content and copy for websites, emails, social media and mobile apps is preferred.
