Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

Join Intercos, a leading global cosmetics group, as an Internal Audit Specialist. You will work under the guidance of the Global Internal Audit Manager to assess and improve the control environment across the parent company and its subsidiaries worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal audit projects, including operational and compliance audits, following the direction of the Global Internal Audit Manager.
• Execute testing procedures such as walkthroughs, control design evaluations, and effectiveness assessments.
• Identify, communicate, and propose remediation actions for internal control weaknesses.
• Conduct follow‑up audits to verify implementation of corrective measures.
• Prepare audit reports, presentations for top management, and documentation for governance bodies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (Finance, Legal, HR, IT) to facilitate audit engagements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit or an assurance auditing firm.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to travel internationally as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
• Understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with audit‑related IT tools (preferred).
