IT Business Partner – Finance & Administration

About the role

Barilla is seeking an IT Business Partner to support its Finance & Administration unit. Based in Parma, you will act as the bridge between finance stakeholders and the global IT landscape, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse finance business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications for SAP solutions and ERP extensions (BTP and third‑party).
• Lead project management activities and serve as the primary IT contact for Controlling and Group Controlling teams.
• Drive digitalisation and automation initiatives using Machine Learning, AI, and Power BI to enhance reporting and decision‑making.
• Develop clear IT requirement roadmaps and solution designs that support record‑to‑report processes, including general ledger closing and inventory valuation.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities, recommend standardisation, and deliver quick‑win solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
• Support finance leadership with fact‑based system decisions and guide change‑management efforts for SAP S/4HANA roll‑outs and Fiori adoption.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT finance roles, preferably within large, multinational environments.
• Proven ability to work closely with finance stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong project‑management skills and experience driving digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and change‑management capabilities.
