IT Service Engineer – 12‑month Fixed‑Term (Milan)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Service Engineer to join TrueLayer’s IT team in Milan on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will provide hands‑on support to all staff, maintain documentation, and ensure smooth operation of office technology in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Keep IT documentation in Notion up‑to‑date.
• Onboard new employees and streamline off‑boarding processes.
• Support and maintain office IT equipment, including meeting‑room AV, printers, scanners and Wi‑Fi network.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT colleagues when needed.
• Set up and operate Auditorium (Town Hall) AV equipment for events.
• Work on‑site in Milan three days a week to assist the on‑site team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT engineering or support role.
• Hands‑on experience with macOS and iOS environments (Mac‑first stack).
• Methodical, structured approach to troubleshooting with focus on root‑cause resolution.
• Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to adopt new tools.
• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity.
