Junior Industrial Controller / Business Analyst

About the role

Exide Technologies is seeking a Junior Industrial Controller / Business Analyst for its Italian plant. Reporting to the Senior Plant and Business Controller, you will support day‑to‑day financial and operational activities, ensuring accurate and timely information for management.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly closing activities, including P&L bridge versus budget and prior year.
• Prepare weekly and monthly plant reporting and forecasts with accurate data.
• Develop and maintain budgets, sales forecasts, variance analysis, margin and pricing reviews.
• Calculate product costs, monitor expense accounting and analyse cost deviations from production issues.
• Support Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma projects with cost analysis and savings tracking.
• Manage monthly cycle‑counts and year‑end stock‑take, supervising the process and auditing results.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related financial field.
• Fluent in Italian and English (minimum B2); additional language (French or Spanish) is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to present data clearly.
• Proactive, goal‑oriented and comfortable working in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).
• Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP (preferred).
