Junior Privacy Counsel

About the role

Bending Spoons is looking for a motivated Junior Privacy Counsel to join its fast‑growing legal team. You will work closely with product, engineering and security teams to embed privacy‑by‑design principles and ensure compliance with global data‑protection regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security to translate regulatory requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Identify privacy risks early and help shape compliant product features, workflows, and internal processes.
• Draft and review DPAs, privacy policies, LIAs and DPIAs using AI‑assisted tools, applying judgment to ensure compliance.
• Conduct privacy audits and coordinate with external consultants and legal advisors.
• Monitor evolving privacy regulations and case law, providing clear internal guidance.

Required profile

• Strong reasoning ability: solve complex problems from first principles and pay attention to critical details.
• High drive and ambition with a sense of responsibility and a commitment to raising personal standards.
• Team spirit: collaborative, supportive of the best ideas, reliable, honest and transparent.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
