Junior Project Manager

About the role

Join Siemens Energy's Grid Technologies division to drive the execution of high‑impact EPC projects for advanced high‑voltage substations and FACTS solutions. You will shape project strategies, plan resources, manage risks and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with experts across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support project execution strategies, including resource planning and risk management, aligned with Business Unit goals.
• Establish and maintain project activities to meet targets for time, cost, deliverables and quality.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout execution, sharing lessons learned.
• Analyze scope of supply and customer contract agreements to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards (D.Lgs 81/08) and disseminate relevant project information to all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in turn‑key EPC contracts and knowledge of high‑voltage substations (AIS & GIS) and FACTS.
• Knowledge of contract law, commercial and quality topics, and Environmental Health & Safety standards (D.Lgs 81/08) for construction sites.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Available for national and international travel up to 25 % of the time.
• Project management certification (PMI, IPMA, etc.) is a plus.
