Lead Auditor – Food & Beverage

About the role

DNV is seeking a Lead Auditor specialized in Food & Beverage to head audit teams that assess compliance with DNV, international, or national standards. You will guide audits from planning through reporting, ensuring high‑quality, independent assessments for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on Food & Beverage audits in line with DNV methodologies and timelines.
• Maintain professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core audit areas.
• Develop and sustain positive relationships with client personnel and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate audit activities, confirm schedules with customers, and ensure the independence of the DNV scheme.
• Maintain and update your Auditor Registration with DNV or an equivalent recognized body.
• Foster a positive work environment, support team morale, and guide professional development of audit team members.
• Communicate effectively with line management, audit teams, and client stakeholders.
• Utilize DNV‑approved audit tools and manage data for certificate issuance.

Required profile

• Current Auditor Registration with DNV or another recognized certification body.
• Proven experience leading audit teams and delivering audit reports.
• Strong understanding of DNV, international, and national standards relevant to Food & Beverage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining the integrity of the audit process.
