Legal Advisor – International Contracts & Compliance

About the role

The Legal Advisor will support the Senior Legal responsible and internal clients, executing the company’s legal strategy across Europe and beyond. The role involves providing advice on commercial contracts, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, and handling cross‑border legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on commercial terms and conditions during negotiations, focusing on sale agreements, NDAs, MOUs, LOIs, collaboration, IP and partnering agreements.
• Provide legal support to Procurement, Programs, CTO and SBD functions after contract signature, including drafting ancillary contracts, amendments and offering legal guidelines.
• Analyse legal aspects of each deal and contribute to the handling of product, customer and supplier claims.
• Interact regularly with international stakeholders and travel extensively across Europe and other regions as business needs dictate.

Required profile

• Law degree with Italian Bar qualification; LLM or MBA considered a plus.
• Minimum 5 + years post‑qualification experience, preferably a mix of international law‑firm and in‑house roles in high‑tech or defence companies.
• Strong knowledge of international commercial law, anti‑trust, product liability, intellectual property and export‑control regulations.
• Experience in defence, aviation or innovation & technology sectors is advantageous.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional, multi‑jurisdictional teams within the EU, UK and other jurisdictions.
