Legal Counsel Intern

About the role

Arsenale is seeking a Legal Counsel Intern to support its M&A transactions and international projects. The intern will work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with Italian and international laws while gaining hands‑on experience in corporate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting documentation for share acquisitions, disposals, business unit sales, leases, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and shareholder agreements in both Italian and English.
• Support pre‑ and post‑closing activities, including preparing closing agendas and monitoring conditions precedent.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary and international teams involved in complex transactions.
• Draft corporate documentation and manage relationships among shareholders.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on current and strategic business initiatives.
• Monitor international legal developments relevant to the Group’s activities.
• Assist in managing external legal advisors and consultants.

Required profile

• Degree in Law.
• Previous academic or internship experience in law firms or corporate legal departments (a plus).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Interest in corporate, M&A and finance.
• Strong analytical, organizational and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work in dynamic, international environments.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Interest in corporate governance and legal compliance matters.
