Legal Internship – International Law Firm in Milan

About the role

Ashurst, a leading global law firm, is offering a six‑month full‑time legal internship in its Milan office. The programme is designed for final‑year law students or recent graduates who wish to start their professional career in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lawyers in various practice groups such as Projects & Energy Transition, Competition, Tax, Global Loans, and Corporate Transactions.
• Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and support the preparation of client documents.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case analysis.
• Support administrative tasks related to ongoing matters.

Required profile

• Last‑year law student or recent graduate with an average grade of at least 27.
• Fluent in English (C1 level) – part of the interview will be conducted in English.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication abilities.
• Experience abroad (e.g., Erasmus or exchange programme) is required.
• Previous legal internship experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Legal research and drafting.
• Proficiency in English (C1).
