Maintenance Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support our Oil & Gas projects, ensuring high equipment availability and driving maintenance optimisation across on‑shore and off‑shore operations. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting, planning, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor equipment availability and resolve potential shortfalls.
• Support project teams during breakdowns, routine and extraordinary maintenance, and inspections.
• Liaise with vendors for planned and unplanned maintenance assistance.
• Propose improvements to maintenance procedures, spare‑parts management, and CMMS data.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for O&M projects.
• Modify maintenance plans within the CMMS and review spare‑parts strategies.
• Estimate work activities, propose optimisation initiatives and ensure schedule compliance.
• Analyse Management of Change (MOC) requests together with the HSE department.
• Participate in maintenance re‑engineering, reliability analysis and evaluation of new tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience with maintenance planning and management systems.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with strong communication abilities.
• Availability for on‑shore and off‑shore missions.

Required skills

• SAP PM (mandatory).
• CMMS usage and data management.
• Microsoft Office suite.
