Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that guest repair requests are addressed promptly and that all hotel facilities operate safely and efficiently. Working on‑site, you will lead preventive maintenance, coordinate with other shifts, and uphold the brand’s high standards for guest experience and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines; carry necessary equipment on each shift.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved procedures.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and thorough clean‑up.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical components, HVAC filters, lighting, TVs, and other guestroom items.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs, including sprinkler systems.
• Enter air‑handler schedules and adjust temperatures via computer systems.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report hazards and incidents.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or willingness to acquire knowledge in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building maintenance.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Commitment to safety procedures and professional appearance.
