Maintenance Worker – Ancona

About the role

Alstom is looking for a Maintenance Worker to join its depot in Ancona. You will be responsible for ensuring that trains arriving at the depot are inspected, faults are identified, and both preventive and corrective maintenance actions are carried out to keep the fleet reliable and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the condition of each train on arrival and detect any faults or malfunctions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on electrical, electronic, mechanical and IT systems.
• Guarantee the availability and reliability of the fleet while complying with safety and quality standards.
• Use certified tools appropriate for each intervention and update the fault database with relevant information.
• Inform the team daily about the status of activities and respect delivery deadlines.
• Follow health‑and‑safety and railway safety regulations and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Mandatory high school diploma, preferably a Technical Diploma (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, IT).
• Approximately 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in the railway sector.
• If experienced in rail, possession of ANSF certifications for safety‑critical train components is preferred.
• Willingness to work continuous shift cycles and undertake short business trips.
