Managing Director Italy - Metal Processing & Industrial Operations

About the role

Präzi Parts, a member of the German‑owned Präzi Group, is seeking a hands‑on Managing Director to lead its Italian manufacturing site. The role carries full local business responsibility and requires strong operational and technical leadership across production, logistics, purchasing, quality, industrial engineering and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the local company and management team, accountable for operational and financial performance.
• Drive on‑time delivery, productivity, quality, safety, cost control and scrap/rework reduction using the recently implemented ERP system.
• Strengthen processes in production, logistics, purchasing, quality, industrial engineering and maintenance.
• Develop KPI routines, leadership structures and professional management processes.
• Oversee CAPEX, industrial engineering projects, technical improvements and transformation initiatives.
• Represent the company to group functions, customers, suppliers and local stakeholders.
• Build a performance‑oriented leadership culture close to the shop floor.

Required profile

• Senior experience as Managing Director, Plant Manager, COO, Operations Director or comparable industrial leadership role.
• Strong technical background in metal processing, steel, welding, machining, assembly or agricultural machinery environments.
• Proven responsibility for production planning, quality, maintenance, logistics, industrial engineering and operational improvement.
• Experience with P&L, budgeting, CAPEX, cost reduction and transformation programmes.
• Hands‑on leadership style with shop‑floor credibility and ability to work in a matrix organisation.
• Fluent Italian and excellent English and/or German.
