Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Pramac, a Generac Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its International Manufacturing Engineering Team at the headquarters in Casole d'Elsa, Siena, Italy. Reporting to the International Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and support the transformation of the plant’s value streams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement policies, procedures and documentation for process improvement projects, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Support plant transformation, technology transfer and the ongoing maintenance of value streams.
• Apply demand‑driven production fundamentals to enhance flexibility, speed and responsiveness.
• Synchronise product, material and information flows to maximise efficiency and minimise operating costs.
• Collaborate with production staff to improve production methods, systems and controls.
• Monitor methodological correctness in project development and provide timely feedback.
• Facilitate change‑management activities, key improvement programmes and KPI measurement.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial/Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel to group subsidiaries when required.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
