About the role
Unilever is seeking a highly motivated National Account Manager to lead its Foods portfolio in Italy. You will be responsible for growing key national accounts within the GDO channel, focusing on the Knorr and Calvé brands.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business plans for national key accounts in the GDO channel.
- Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with major retail partners.
- Drive sales performance, profitability, and market‑share growth for the assigned portfolio.
- Lead negotiations on commercial agreements, promotions, and assortment strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Analyse market trends, shopper insights and customer performance to identify growth opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience managing complex key accounts, preferably in FMCG/food & beverage and GDO.
- Strong operational, selling, negotiation and project‑management capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead through collaboration, networking and influence.
- Experience managing P&L and building high‑performing teams.
- Data‑driven mindset with excellent analytical skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
