Native English Early Years Educator/Teacher (0-6 yrs)

About the role

Rootes School, a bilingual and bicultural institution in Monza, is seeking a native English‑speaking Early Years Educator/Teacher to join its dynamic team. You will work with children aged 0‑6, creating a fully English‑speaking environment that supports linguistic, emotional and relational development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons and activities tailored to 0‑6‑year‑olds.
• Support children’s linguistic, cognitive, emotional and social growth through inclusive learning experiences.
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, nap time, personal hygiene and changing, using these moments for relationship‑building.
• Collaborate with the educational team to design and update bilingual learning materials and projects.
• Observe, monitor and report children’s progress to families and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in training sessions, pedagogical meetings and professional development.

Required profile

• Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Languages or a related field.
• Previous experience with children aged 0‑6, preferably in bilingual or international settings.
• Native‑level English proficiency; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
• Teaching certifications such as CELTA, CELTYL, TEFL or equivalent are advantageous.
• Enthusiasm, empathy and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
• Strong intercultural awareness and teamwork skills.
