OU SAS Portfolio Manager

About the role

The OU SAS Portfolio Manager drives strategic, business-focused growth by linking market opportunities with the global product portfolio and internal delivery capabilities. The role keeps the Operating Unit aligned with customer needs, emerging technologies and market dynamics across transmission, distribution, renewable energy, data centers, offshore wind and industrial electrification. It acts as the key interface between Market Management, Sales, Global Product Groups, Engineering, Project Management and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the portfolio growth strategy for OU SAS Europe and identify emerging market opportunities, customer requirements and industry trends.
• Align market demands with Global Product Group roadmaps and OU business objectives, and develop business cases for new markets and offerings.
• Assess organizational readiness, recommend and drive organizational changes, and lead cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Support strategic customer engagements, market-entry strategies and growth initiatives, and enable Country Sales and Tendering teams with portfolio guidance and go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor market developments, competition, regulation and technology trends, and report portfolio performance and growth opportunities to OU leadership.
• Evaluate the Operating Unit's ability to meet future demand, define capability plans, and drive standardization, digitalization and process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in Substation Automation Systems, Power Transmission & Distribution or related industries is a must.
• Energy sector experience is required.
• Proven experience in portfolio management, product management, strategy, business development or market management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across a global organization.
