About the role

The International School of Brindisi is seeking a full‑time Pre‑K Teacher to join its on‑site team in Brindisi, Italy. The successful candidate will create a safe, nurturing environment where young learners can develop emotionally, socially, cognitively, and physically.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver developmentally appropriate, inquiry‑based lessons for Pre‑K children.
• Prepare classroom materials and organize age‑appropriate activities aligned with the school’s international curriculum.
• Observe, assess, and document student progress, adapting instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum projects.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and contribute to an inclusive school culture.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education with experience in Pre‑K or Kindergarten settings.
• BS or BA in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
• Authorization to work in Italy and willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning.
• Fluent English; additional language skills, especially Italian, are a plus.
