Primary School Teacher

About the role

The Primary Teacher will plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning experiences for primary‑school students, fostering their academic, social, emotional and personal development. The role requires creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment while implementing the school curriculum in line with the institution’s mission and values.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the primary academic programme, ensuring effective curriculum delivery and innovative, student‑centred teaching practices.
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the primary teaching team, leading pedagogical meetings and supporting professional development.
• Monitor students’ academic, social and emotional progress, providing targeted support for diverse learning needs and managing behaviour and wellbeing strategies.
• Maintain timely communication with parents and guardians, participating in meetings, conferences and school events.
• Prepare academic and performance reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and school activities, and ensure compliance with internal policies and educational regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field with a valid teaching certification.
• Minimum of X years of primary‑education teaching experience; experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong classroom‑management and instructional skills, with sound knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate methodologies.
• Effective communication, planning, organisational and assessment abilities, and the capacity to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Collaborative mindset, commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with the school’s safeguarding and inclusion principles.
