Private Debt Direct Lending Internship – Milan

About the role

Eurazeo’s Private Debt Direct Lending team is looking for a motivated intern to join its Milan office starting September 2026. You will gain hands‑on exposure to the European private debt market, supporting the evaluation, execution, and monitoring of mid‑market debt transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Initial deal review and screening of potential investments.
• Conduct business, financial and industry due diligence.
• Build and maintain financial models and perform valuation analysis.
• Support transaction execution and post‑investment monitoring.

Required profile

• Previous experience in investment banking, private equity/debt or transaction services (essential).
• Pursuing a Master’s degree in a top‑ranking business or engineering school with a corporate finance focus.
• Strong analytical, modelling and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and native Italian.
• Self‑starter, independent thinker; additional European language (e.g., French) is a plus.
