Procurement Specialist – Procurement Support

About the role

As a Procurement Support Specialist you will help Nestlé Purina Italy implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships and ensure smooth procurement processes at the market level. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support the launch of a new manufacturing site and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of local sourcing strategies.
• Gather business requirements and procurement data.
• Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers to align expectations.
• Assist with Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) activities and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and the supplier code of conduct.
• Contribute to cost‑reduction and innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in technical studies, Economics or Business Administration.
• Previous experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Knowledge of sourcing and risk management.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
• Proactive, results‑focused and able to work in a compliance‑driven environment.
