Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor manages assembly and testing activities, ensuring they follow production plans, priorities and quality standards. The role leads and develops the production team daily, monitors performance and supports the resolution of operational issues, reporting directly to the Production Manager. It is an on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily assembly and testing activities to keep production flowing smoothly
• Lead production operators on the shopfloor and build a collaborative, high-performance team
• Assign tasks and manage workforce deployment according to production priorities and capacity
• Monitor team performance against daily and weekly targets and give regular feedback
• Analyze key production measurements (efficiency, productivity, output, schedule adherence)
• Manage team dynamics, including conflict resolution and engagement
• Identify and escalate operational issues and drive their resolution
• Build daily, weekly and monthly production plans
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards
• Support continuous improvement programs (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) and work with Planning, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience in assembly or production line operations
• People management experience: leading, motivating and developing teams on the shopfloor, managing dynamics, giving feedback and resolving conflicts
• Basic knowledge of production measurements (efficiency, productivity, output)
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and tools (e.g. SAP, Excel)
• Intermediate English, written and spoken

Preferred profile

• Experience with Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, A3, root cause analysis)
• Knowledge of line balancing and production flow optimization
• Experience with measurement dashboards and data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Continuous improvement projects and team development activities such as coaching or skill matrix management
