Project Manager – Data Centre Connectivity Migration

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager / Consultant to lead the connectivity migration for a major data‑centre campus expansion in Milan. The role combines project‑management discipline with specialist consulting on carrier coordination, POP room transition, fibre routing and both physical and logical infrastructure assessments within an active data‑centre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with multiple carriers to support the migration of connectivity across the campus.
• Plan and execute POP room and MMR transitions, managing cross‑connects, white‑space, fibre and data cabling.
• Conduct physical and logical infrastructure assessments, identifying shared assets, risks, blockers and dependencies.
• Own work‑streams and work‑packages, drive on‑site activity and ensure milestone‑based delivery.
• Produce regular project reports, manage stakeholder communication and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data‑centre, telecoms, carrier or network‑infrastructure projects.
• Background in data‑centre transitions, relocations or migrations.
• Strong understanding of white‑space, cabling, fibre, hardware and carrier environments.
• Ability to take ownership of work‑packages and drive activity on site.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
