Project Manager - Finance Transformation

About the role

As the Project Manager for Finance Transformation at Satispay, you will act as the bridge between product, business and finance teams, ensuring new features are seamlessly integrated into the financial ecosystem. You will own end‑to‑end transformation projects that cover tax compliance, billing engines and front‑end financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product‑finance integration, defining billing, tax and accounting requirements from concept to launch.
• Manage fiscal, VAT and regulatory compliance for new products across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Supervise and optimise billing engine flows for B2B and B2C lines, guaranteeing automated and accurate invoicing.
• Own financial front‑end processes, ensuring perfect reconciliation of transaction data, merchant payouts and user balances.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax and Accounting to scope projects, mitigate risks and deliver on time.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to replace manual financial workflows.
• Coordinate welfare product processes and serve as point of contact for related launches.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or Consultant in finance transformation, FinTech operations or financial systems implementation.
• Strong understanding of financial product flows, billing/invoicing systems and corporate tax/VAT logic for digital products.
• Proactive, able to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Required skills

• Experience with complex data structures and APIs.
• Familiarity with ERP integrations; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• SQL or other data‑analysis tools.
